Available for Foster to AdoptDaphne is a 16 month-old Chihuahua. She is not yet spayed and needs crate rest to recover after being hit by a car and suffering pelvic fractures. We would love to place her into a loving, foster to adopt home so she can settle in with her family while recovering. Despite her injuries and forced rest, Daphne's sparkling personality shines for her family! She does well with her 4-legged foster siblings, 2 Olde English Bulldogges! During her brief outings outside her crate, she loves to snuggle on foster mom's lap and would love to be able to play. While she does not especially like being in the crate, she does well when positioned near her 4-leeged sister and she does need this time to allow her body to properly heal. Daphne has done incredibly well adjusting to a busy home with adults and teens as well as her 4-legged siblings. She would love to be in a home with lots of activity around her and people to love on! All medications and vet care are provided by SVPP while Daphne recovers. Once she has healed and can be spayed, the adoption will be completed after her spay surgery.
