12/16/24 01:20Doggy Day Out Report: Today I: Today I made a new friend and we went to the park. When I first came out I was excited and wriggled all around and my new friend couldn't stop laughing trying to get my harness on but once we got it on we were on our way to the park. I was a little nervous jumping into the car but with a treat I was able to leap right up with no problem. I couldn't wait to get out of the car and on to the walkâ we went all around the park. We walked around neighborhoods, down the streets, and hiked up the hill. I got all the sniffs in I could, it was such a great day. Along with way I got lots of treats and showed how I could sit and wait for themâ I also took them very gently. Part way through the walk, when we were sitting down, I made sure to lay in my friends lap and roll around to show him how much fun I was having. We also saw squirrels, birds, and other dogs and while I was super interested in the other animals, I made sure to stay close to my friend and check back in as much as I could. At the end of the trip we got a pup cup and it was DELICIOUS!! What a wonderful day. Three Words to Describe Me are: Gentle, Curious, GoofyNotes from My Walker: Eduardo is an amazing companion, and from the moment I met him, I knew we were going to hit it off and have an incredible time together. His goofy, blocky head and sweet demeanor are the perfect combination, and he truly exceeded all my expectations during our walk. For his size, Eduardo is surprisingly gentle. He never pulled on the leash or overreacted to anything in his surroundings. His excitement to go on a walk was infectious, and although getting his harness on required a little patience (he was so wiggly and eager!), once it was on, he was an absolute star. His enthusiasm made every step of the walk more enjoyable.Eduardo is the kind of dog who pays attention to his walking buddy. He took treats with the utmost gentleness, and throughout the walk, he regularly glanced back to make sure I was right there with him. It felt like he truly cared about our connection, which made the experience even more special.Despite his size, Eduardo is really just a big, lovable baby. All he wants is affection and attention, and he isnât shy about letting you know it. During our breaks, he would sit close, leaning into me as if to say, `This is nice, isnât it?` Those moments were peaceful and sweet, and it felt like we were the only two on the trail, even when others were around.Eduardoâs curiosity is part of his charm. When other dogs passed by, he perked up with interest, as if he wanted to learn more about them. However, he was easily redirected and kept his focus on our walk. He didnât bark or react negatively to anything, which speaks volumes about his calm and friendly nature. And letâs not forgetâheâs photogenic! He was ready to pose for pictures at a momentâs notice, making our adventure even more memorable. This goofy, affectionate boy stole my heart in such a short time. Eduardo deserves all the love in the world, and I have no doubt that heâs going to make his future family incredibly happy. Whoever welcomes him into their home is in for a lifetime of joy, loyalty, and endless tail wags.
