Description:
Here is EFFIE's Tails and Trails Report Card!02/14/25 11:27What did we do on todayâs adventure: When I met Effie, she was full of energyâwiggling with excitement and ready to head out on our adventure. Despite her happy tail constantly wagging, getting her collar and harness on was surprisingly easy. Once we were geared up, we made our way to Almaden Lake Park. Effie jumped into my car all on her ownâno help needed! She enjoyed the first part of the ride, but halfway through, she started to get a little impatient, whining softly as if asking to start the fun early. A quick âsitâ and a treat did the trick, calming her down for the rest of the drive. On our hike, Effie had anabsolute blast. She sniffed everything in sight and curiously watchedthe geese gliding across the lake. Joggers, bikes, and other park goers passed by, and while none of it phased her, she was definitely eager to greet every dog she saw along the way! What should potential adopters know about me: Effie is a happy, playful pup with an infectious zest for life! Sheâs full of energy and loves getting out for walks, hikes, and any outdoor adventures. Sheâs curious about her surroundings, enjoys sniffing around, and is especially fascinated by wildlife like geese. She is friendly with people and very eager to meet other dogs, so sheâll thrive in a home where she gets plenty of exercise and social time. While sheâsgenerally well-behaved, her excitement can sometimes lead to a littleimpatience, like whining in the car when sheâs ready to get moving. But withgentle guidance (and a treat or two), she settles down quickly.Sheâs comfortable with joggers, cyclists, and busy environments, making her agreat companion for active individuals or families. Effie is also smart andresponsiveâshe picks up on cues like âsitâ easily, so sheâd do well withcontinued positive reinforcement training.Three words to describe me:Energetic, Curious, Friendly
