Drake, a playful young-adult German Shepherd, seeks an active human who knows his breed. Drake's as fun as a barrel of monkeys, skilled at Fetch & Catch games, and will probably excel at typical German Shepherd sports, activities, and general adventures. He's a happy playtime partner and darn good on leash! Drake's able to jump a 5-1/2' fence, so his adopter's yard will need to be secure, although so far, Drake has only jumped a fence when he was left alone in our yard. Drake looks forward to meeting you real soon!Drake's foster has this to say about him:`Drake is so loving, biddable, and super smart. He is a fetch champion and incredibly fast and agile, but if you want to go for a jog he will tailor his gait to yours. Totally chill while we’re having coffee, working, or watching TV. He is a wonderful houseguest, very respectful of the space. He is friendly with passing humans. Good on basic commands, housetrained, quiet, and learns fast. He doesn’t pull on the leash unless he meets with a distraction, and we’re sure he could be trained out of that. Perfect angel in the car. He’s not up in your business if you’re eating, but he’s sure happy when it’s his turn! Feeling down? He’s got a kiss ready for you, just ask.
