Meet Clyde!-8 month male Anatolian mix (breed is simply a guess!)-Arrived to the Shelter as a stray so we do not know about his life before the Shelter-Was found by our awesome animal control officers in some agricultural fields with two dog friends-After some snacks and sweet talking, staff were able to bring him and his friends in for safety-Looking for a patient adopter to help him transition to indoor living. Things like leash walking and house training may be new for this gentle giant-Has met dogs at the Shelter and has done well-No history with cats or childrenNow through February 15th, we are hosting âAdopt Your Valentineâ where adoption fees are reduced to $50. The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchips. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
