Meet Coco!-1 year old Cane Corso-Weighs around 70lbs-Came into the Shelter as an owner surrender after his previous guardian could no longer care for him-Lived in a home with children teens, men and women previously-Lived primarily outdoors in previous home so may need patience in the transition to indoor living-Favorite activities are playing with squeaky toys, playing fetch, running and cuddling-Lived with other dogs previously (male and female) of similar sizes and did well-Lived with cats, small animals and livestock successfully-Knows “sit”, “stay”, “chow-down”, “come” and is still perfecting “lay down” Now through February 15th, we are hosting “Adopt Your Valentine” where adoption fees are reduced to $50. The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchips. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
