Meet Kiara!-young, very active and athletic female mixed herding breed-Weighs 53lbs-House trained and will bark to let her people know she has to go out-Lived with a small dog previously and did well-Lived with children ages 3 to 11 years old, can be a bit rough in play-Loves playing fetch-Knows âsitâ, âcomeâ, âpawâ, âboth pawsâ and âtalkâ in Spanish-Lived with a cat in most recent home but was too intense and playful for cat to be comfortable with herPlease note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
