Meet Phoenix!-2 year old pitbull mix (breed is simply a guess!)-Weighs around 50lbs-Came into the Shelter as a stray so we do not have a history of this dogâs life before the Shelter-Observed in a home short term. Noted to be house trained, enjoyed sleeping on the couch, and got along with the resident dog-Has been social and easy going since arrival at the Shelter -No history with cats or childrenPlease note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
