Meet Robbie!-6 month old mixed breed pup-Weighs 42lbs-Came into the Shelter as a stray so we do not know about his life before now-A little cautious in new environments but with patience, warms up and starts to show a more typical puppy side-Still working on life skills and manners such as potty training and leash walking-No history living with cats or children-Enjoys going to playgroup with other dogsRobbie is in a foster home learning life skills and manners to help him in his adoptive home. His foster includes a family, dog-savvy cats, and dogs of various sizes and ages. Robbie is growing in confidence and learning our human world is not so scary. Things like walking through thresholds are still a bit spooky but with patience and +R training - we anticipate Robbie will continue to develop and thrive in his adoptive home.Now through December 17th, BISSELL Pet Foundations is sponsoring reduced adoption fees and we are participating! Adoption fees for all cats and dogs are reduced to $50.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day.
