Meet Rocky!-1.5 year old border collie mix-Arrived to the Shelter as an owner surrender after previous guardian was unable to continue caring for-Noted to be affectionate and social with staff-Lived in a home with another large breed dog previously-Was primarily outdoors in the previous home so he may need some patience in the transition into his new home-Lived in a home with children 4 to 12 years old-High energy dog that would benefit from a guardian who leads an active lifestyle and is looking for a buddy to join-Some of his favorite activities are playing with toys and ballsNow through December 17th, BISSELL Pet Foundations is sponsoring reduced adoption fees and we are participating! Adoption fees for all cats and dogs are reduced to $50.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
