Meet Saffron!-1 1/2 year old boxer mix-Came into the Shelter as a stray so we do not know about her life before the Shelter -Staff have observed that she is a little shy but is receptive to soft pets and attention-Seems to get a confidence boost from being around other dogs. A resident canine in the home will likely help her in her next spot-No history with children or cats-Still perfecting life skills like potty training and leash walkingPlease note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
