Meet Zuko, the handsome chocolate Doberman. Zuko previously lived in a home with a variety of aged people and has been observed to be a sensitive guy since his arrival at the Shelter â a little nervous at first but softens, gives tail wags and gentle kisses. His favorite activity is running around and playing fetch with tennis balls (also his favorite toy, obviously!). Zuko enjoyed romping around with a female Frenchie in his previous home may enjoy a canine companion in his next spot. Doberman lovers â donât miss out on this handsome guy!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
