Description:
Hello. I'm Lil Floof, a happy 10-week-old pup living the good life in my foster homes. I was found on the streets and rushed to the shelter for safekeeping. Since I was so young, the shelter staff ensured I stayed in the office and went to rescue after my hold was up. Since time was of the essence, a ShepHeroes volunteer picked me up to foster me while my people put out the word for a regular foster family who could keep me until I'm old enough to be adopted. I'm a super duper confident happy puppy. I sleep in my crate all night, and I love playing with the resident dogs and following them around. I also have a pen to keep me out of trouble when they can't have eyes on me during the day. I love our outings and having my nose sniffing out all the smells from my dog backpack. I also love to snuggle with my peeps, ensuring they get lots of puppy devotion. The first foster home where I hung out had two senior shepherds. I immediately charmed the younger one into playing with me. The older one huffed at me and told me I could hang out but not expect lots of play. He's way too mature for play. Because they had weekend commitments, I headed over to my next foster home, where the resident dog welcomed me, and so did the humans; one of them was a teenager, and boy, she's pretty cool. They also had cats and birds, so I got many new experiences. They showed me to eat from a slow feeder bowl so I could stop inhaling my food. And I'm already learning new tricks like sit and down already, showing off my smarts. My people said I'm very sweet and healthy, and I've gained a couple of pounds already. I adore toys and am partial to chew toys that ease my achy teeth. We stopped at Paws and Play Sacramento for more goodies, and I had my first rabbit ear from Naked Beast and these amazing collagen sticks. I think I'm going to like this new life of mine. So far, I've been mastering this potty business of going outside with diligent reminders from my peeps. They get very excited when I potty outside and make it a party; I'm on board to make them so happy. Thanks to all the folks who spread the word about my need for a longer-term foster home, I just headed off to my next home which will be my foster home, which I'm sharing with a resident shepherd. Stayed tuned for updates, I'll share more as I get settled in. I hear that I got my name Floof as a knickname after my first bath and I was just floofy snuggled into a blanket after getting dried off. There might be a new name in my future as I settle in. I was so lucky that there were people who opened their homes to love me while foster homes got all sorted out. Have you visited ShepHeroes' YouTube channel? They would love your support by subscribing to the channel and liking and commenting on the videos they share of puppies like me, in action. I have a few vidoes going up soon to give everyone a feel for me. As a foster-based rescue, ShepHeroes is always in need of fosters. An overwhelming number of shepherds in our local shelters need our help for a fresh start. Would you be willing to share your home and part of your summer to help shepherds find new families? You provide the love, and we'll provide everything else! Saying "yes" today truly saves a life. Complete this https://www.shepheroes.org/foster-form, and we'll be in touch ASAP! We appreciate your consideration.
