Meet Rosco, a five year old chihuahua mix. Rosco is sweet and loving pup who struggles with trust and can be shy and fearful around new people. He is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and come out of his shell. With kindness and patience, Rosco will blossom into the loyal companion he's meant to be. Rosco has only been with his foster family for a couple of weeks, but he has already formed a strong bond with his foster mom. He is more reserved with the other family members but is making progress every day. He would thrive in a calm home with older children and small dogs, where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. Rosco is potty trained and is using the doggie door. He is good with other small dogs, loves to play with his toys and also walks nicely on the leash.
