Description:

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Coco #12 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). Could any dog be as charismatic as Coco? At 37 pounds, this warm hearted 1-year-old white and gray miss, so sweet and so gentle, loves snuggling and cuddling with her foster mom, resting her head on her, showing her paw for more loving and then turning over for tummy rubs. Inquisitive and intelligent, with a hint of independence, Coco loves all toys, especially her squeaking dragon toy, chewing on ice, licking frozen yogurt and peanut butter, and going for walks, learning to pull less on her leash. Currently being treated for heartworm disease, she’s understandably not as active as she will be once she gets the green light to “GO” as befits her breed. Preferring kibble for training treats, motivated by food, toys and love, Coco knows “come,” “sit,” “stay” and “down,” is at work on her doggy manners, and is crate trained and almost fully house-trained. Now her ideal home is one with a securely fenced yard and loving adopters who will perfect her manners, continue her socialization, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
