Rio will without a doubt will be the love of your life. She and her sister were on the EU list in an overcrowded NM shelter. She loves to go on walks and explore everything. Rio is approx 14 mos, 33#, and her dna says her top 3 breeds are Australian shepherd/mini Aussie/Border Collie. She has impeccable manners and a great recall. Rio loves people and dogs. She has not been tested with cats or kids but a respectful child 10+ may be considered due to her even temperament, calm demeanor, and sweet nature. Rio and her sister had double FHO surgery due to either a genetic condition or poor nutrition as puppies, or both. Both girls did amazing with surgery and PT and are unrestricted for activities. Rio is potty trained and crate trained and would love a secure fenced in yard as she enjoys lounging in the sun. A smaller space could be sufficient if she gets exercise and her humans are home more often than not.
