Welcome, let us introduce you to Abby, your future snuggle buddy. Abby (and her sister Agatha) found herself at the shelter after being dropped off by her previous owner, to no fault of her own. Now she is embracing the possibilities with coming into rescue. Abby is a short haired black and white hound mix. At 6 months old Abby weighs 31 pounds and is expected to be a medium size dog once fully grown, weighing between 31-60 pounds.Her past has not dampened her spirit, she is quickly building confidence and learning to trust humans again. She now greets people with tail wags and warmth. Abby enjoys the company of other dogs and children. Abby has not been introduced to cats, so it is unknown how she will be with them.Her house, leash and crate training are all in process. The perfect family for Abby is one that has the time and patience to continue this basic puppy training using positive reinforcements. With her eagerness to learn and grow she is ready to be the wonderful family member she longs to be.If you are ready to create a lifetime of snuggles, playtime and cherished memories, come and meet Abby.
