Description:
Have you ever seen a moose in Connecticut? Well, the most adorable one ever has arrived, and he is looking for his forever family! Meet Moose, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a tan coat and a bright, happy smile! At 44 lbs., he is considered a medium-size pup.Moose was found on a deserted road and was rescued by our partner shelter in Louisiana. Our partner rescue nursed him back to health, and he is now ready to find his forever family! Moose is a sweet pup who loves getting love from his humans! He can be shy when meeting new people, but kindness and treats of any kind will help him become your friend. He gets along well with other pups, but he has yet to be exposed to young children. Moose has not yet had a chance to meet a cat, so we are not sure how he feels about them. Moose is an active, playful pup, who especially enjoys playtime. He has been learning to fetch!Moose is working on his house, crate, and leash training. Moose is a quick learner, but new places, people, and routines can take some adjustment. Moose will need the support and commitment of his new family members who have the time, desire, and energy to continue his training and socialization. With your love and patience, he can become the perfect lifelong companion and develop the confidence that he needs to be a success! Moose is a great pup. He deserves to have a family to love and be loved. Might that be with you?The adoption fee for Moose is $500.
