I've been through a lot, you know. I fought off heartworms like a champ but I do take daily medication because of it. It was tough, but I'm brave and didn't let it get me down. I'm a curious fellow, always sniffing out new adventures. I'm also fiercely loyal, sticking by my friends no matter what. I've got a sweet side too, I love a good belly rub and a cozy nap. I've been told I have a knack for making people smile. I guess it's just in my nature. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I'm not just a pet, I'm a friend. A friend who'll be there for you, through thick and thin, who'll bring a bit of joy into your life. That's me, Skittles. Full of personality, absolutely sweet and loves to be held and center of attention, gets along with dogs and cats When Skittles came to us he was unfortunately heartworm positive. We have treated him for the heartworms and he is ready for adoption. Possibly due to the heartworms, he is currently on a heart medication and does have a murmur. NOTE: Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed. At this time, we will only be able to process applications that have an excellent current vet history. If you haven’t had a pet or verifiable vet history we will not be able to process your application.
