Female Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier
American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
From her foster- Bon Bon has been so sweet and gentle since coming home. She does pull on the leash, but pays no attention to other dogs, people or kids as we walk by. She loves being close to you and tries to be a lap dog, but only approaches when you invite her. Sheâs a very happy dog and would prefer a treat over a toy, and she loves carloves tennis balls, doesnât show much interest in other toys- very food motivated, easily trainable with treats. - She is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, and wait. She does not bark to let you know she needs out, sheâll just stand by the door. She had two pee accidents because I did not notice she was waiting to be let out. She never had an accident in the crate while I was at work or overnight. - she is fantastic in cars, and loves car rides. She will need leash training, as she likes to pull at the leash, and taking her to new places she gets very excited and has a hard time concentrating. - Good around cats, she just leaves them alone. Sheâs very interested in other dogs, and some dogs sheâs fine with and enjoys their company, others she has made a quiet growl, but never barked or became aggressive.- She is great in the house, sheâs calm, doesnât bark, followed me around and wagged her tail. She would lay down and nap on her own. She loves to cuddle, and lay on your lap if you let her. She can get very playful while snuggling, and sheâll roll on her back and want her belly rubbed, but sheâll try to grab at your hand and put it in her mouth, but she doesnât bite down hard. It seems to be a playful behavior.
