Luxe is a beautiful boy who wants lots of love and kindness from a new person he can call his own. He is a sweet soul, whose behavior and demeanor suggest he was abused. Luxe has been with us for about 6 months and has quickly learned to trust and enjoy life. He is happy and friendly, and seeks out attention and affection. He loves petting, belly rubs, playing in his bed, leash walks, and just hanging out. Luxe does not like other male dogs, suggesting he may have had bad experiences with them in his past. When he misbehaves, he quickly and obediently responds to “no”, and is, for the most part, a good boy. He is okay with female dogs. Luxe is a Shih Tzu mix and about 6 years old. He arrived overweight, but should trim down to about 15 pounds. He is otherwise in good condition and has good energy. Luxe can be adopted into a family as the only dog, or with another nice, calm, female, but no males. He is really a terrific boy who shows his love when he looks at you with his endearing eyes.
