All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out.ADOPT MESwifie is a little bigger than your average beagle. We believe she is probably a foxhound. She is only 33lbs. She is a wonderful little girl. She wants to be with her people and will follow you everywhere. She also loves to play with other dogs. She has completely won over my 78lb coonhound who doesn't always do well with other dogs in his house. Swifie would be a great companion to another playful dog, but she could also be great as an only dog in an active household. Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. We definitely encourage people who are interested in adopting, even if they haven't found the right dog yet, to fill out an application. Our process can take as long as two weeks (we work day jobs!) so having an already approved application speeds things up considerably when you see a dog that catches your eye.
