Black And Tan Coonhound (Short Coat)
Description:
Hi There, my name is Beau. As you can see I am extremely handsome and lovable. I am a very gentle boy. If you don't know what a Tri-Pod is, then let me tell you. It all started when I wondered into Ms. Robins yard. She was a wonderful lady that Safe Pet Project found out about and wanted to help. Ms. Robin is kind enough to foster me while I recover from the following. I was taken to Nottely Oaks Animal Hospital and they tried to fix me up. I may have been hit by a car. All was going great and we hoped that my fractured leg would heal. Unfortunately it did not heal properly. Now I must have my leg amputated at the end of the month. That's where the Tri-Pod comes in. But don't worry after recovery I'll be just find. I am about 77 pounds and around 5 to 6 years old. I am already neutered, and all my vaccines are up to date. I am also microchipped. Since I'm not a puppy I really like to lay around and cuddle. I am totally through "chewing your furniture stage". It will take a few weeks for me to recover but, I will be good as new. Along with the amputation, I am heartworm positive. Don't worry about that either! I am really healthy and will start my heartworm treatment at the end of the month. The heartworm and amputation will be covered by Safe Pet Project so you don't have to worry about cost. I'll be ready for adoption in no time. It would be nice to go to my furever home this fall. Just picture me walking with you in the woods and having a great time smelling all the neat stuff. Plus I will draw a lot of attention. People love tri-pods. Come to find out I am great with children and have a good energy level. I am also kennel trained if needed. However, I do good in the house and I really love outside. Basking in the sun is so relaxing. All those fabulous smells outside. I am a hound you know. A fence would be nice. If you would like to meet me please call Safe Pet Project at 706-400-7076 Ext. 2 See you Soon!
