Male Dog, Hound

Hound / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Dakota is a 2.5 year old male Hound mix, who is a perfect mix of lovable and active. He has a nice, medium energy level where he likes to play in brief spurts. It is so fun to watch him playing with toys, and it’s hard to resist joining in on the fun. Dakota’s playful side is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. And after playtime, Dakota is perfectly content to wind down with some good cuddle time. This sweet boy loves getting affection, and will stand completely still while you wrap your arms around him for head kisses. It’s the kind of bonding moments that melt your heart. Dakota seems fine with other dogs, and will greet them through the fence with cute tail wags. Of course, a meet-n-greet is always recommended if other dogs live in the home. Dakota is initially a little shy / reserved meeting someone new. But all it takes is a short time together, and he begins to quickly bond with you. It’s really that simple: just give this slightly shy, totally lovable boy a few minutes, and you will discover a dog who will bring you both joy and cuddles. Come meet Dakota and see for yourself how this boy is ready to light up your life! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
