Nutty is a 6 month old male Pit mix, who is such a precious lovable pup! He is very shy when meeting new people, although you can tell that he would LOVE to meet you but just has to build up the nerve. Nutty currently lives in the same pen with his sister Nancy, and he usually lets his sister approach someone new first. Nutty is super sweet and gentle, which really makes you want to take him under your wing and help restore his faith in humans. A volunteer recently took him on a Dog Day Out, and they mainly just “people watched” so that he could build confidence with new experiences. Happy moments with people are just what this wonderful boy needs as he learns to trust someone new. Nutty is most at ease when he is playing with other dogs, whether that is his sister or with other dogs next door to their pen … it’s very fun to watch him play! Nutty is young and eager to please, so he will thrive with a family who will give him the love and security of a forever home. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
