AN ABSOLUTE JOY: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 19 lbs. Hi, my name is Frank! I was at animal control when Mostly Mutts – thankfully – came to rescue me. I have been thriving in a great foster home, and now it is time to find a wonderful home of my very own. I want to meet my new family soon and have the good life all doggies deserve! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve been very interested in all the other dogs I have seen while in my foster home … especially those my size. My foster feels I would enjoy another dog as my sidekick. If you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet! / I’ve not been around cats in my foster home, but I do like to chase squirrels, so a supervised introduction would be best with a dog-friendly kitty. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster describes me as a ‘curious, gentle, happy and eager guy who is ready to live, love and be loved’. I am extremely alert and aware of my surroundings … squirrels, take note! I have a very cheerful and cooperative demeanor in my foster home. Very much a ‘people dog’, though I can be cautious around certain adults at first, though I warm up quickly once I trust you. Affectionate and fun, I am sure to bring lots of love and good times to my new family! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My foster family is working with me on the ‘sit’ command – which I sometimes interpret as ‘rollover’ – lol. I’m also polishing my leash manners, which need a little practice. I’m an intelligent fellow, so my training should go well with treats and positive reinforcement. / I think of the crate in my foster home as my own little safe room and enjoy spending time in there on my comfy dog bed. / My potty habits have been great in my foster home! • LIKES/DISLIKES: My favorite things are love, hugs and kisses before anything else! I just enjoy being by your side or at your feet while we chill and hang out. I simply jump with joy when I see my people. I love the sights, scents and smells of the outdoors and simply being outside with my people – for long walks in the park or car rides. On my walks, my foster family can tell that I ‘walk like I enjoy the freedom’ – lol. I have an enthusiastic, assertive energy … walking with a little pep in my step. Mealtime is another favorite of mine, as well as the occasional treats, and hunting for dog cookies – lol. At snuggle time, I enjoy gently playing with my foster’s foot or rummaging in a blanket. I also love my sleep and snuggling next to you for belly rubs. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a wonderful family to give me a loving home for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
