A CUTE & LOVING GIRL: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 14 lbs. Hi, my name is Ruthee! I’m thankful that Mostly Mutts was able to help my previous family, who fell on hard times and were no longer able to care for me and another doggie friend. I’m sad to lose my home, but I look forward to meeting my new family soon! I’m in a wonderful foster home while I wait to meet them. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dogs I have met while with Mostly Mutts, and the little Yorkie in my foster home who is my buddy as well as the dog I came in with. So, if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals, too. / I’d do best in a home without cats as I bark at and chase the kitty in my foster home, and she does not like that. / I’ve not met kids at Mostly Mutts, but my previous owner said I liked the kids I met while with them and my foster has older grandkids that I like, so if you have kids, let’s meet, and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet and friendly girl who is quite well-mannered – sitting so nicely in the bathtub for my shelter bath. I was anxious when I first arrived, but I’m doing great in my foster home now and they say that I’m a joy! Affectionate, gentle, sweet and loving, I am the perfect cuddle bug for a lucky family. / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I already have mastered the ‘sit’ command, and my foster is working on the ‘stay’ command as my previous family said I had some pretty good Houdini skills and was able to bolt and run off, so be mindful of open gates and doors. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My previous owner stated that I was potty trained, and I’m doing great in my foster home, too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like hanging out with the volunteers and my foster family, enjoying all the cuddles. I also love belly rubs and car rides. I’m sure there will be lots of things we discover together that we like doing. / Like many dogs, I am not fond of storms and passing cars tend to startle me. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I had a cherry eye in my left eye when I arrived, and it has been surgically repaired now. I also needed a good dental cleaning so MM has had that done for me, too! I have a grade 3 luxating patella in my rear left leg that may need stabilization surgery in the future, but does not currently. I’m taking an inexpensive over-the-counter Cosequin tablet to help with my joints. I am looking for a great home where I will be a much-loved family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
