Description:

A WONDERFUL & FUN LITTLE GUY: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 16 lbs. Hello – I’m Stevie, a fun little pistol who Mostly Mutts rescued from animal control. The volunteers are taking great care of me on the journey to my new home. Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and I seemed to be picky about which dogs I liked. (I think meeting dogs at the shelter is just a bit much for me.) I met a nice 3-year-old male doggie in my temp. foster home and liked playing with and sleeping near them. We engaged in some mouthy play which was fun and tired us both out, so my temp. foster mom had us take breaks. If you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet with my trainer. / Cats unknown. / I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and liked them. I also met a boy and a girl around 6 years old in my temp. foster home and was sweet with them. I can be a bit jumpy when first meeting, so a home with kids ages 10 and up could be a good fit for me. Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am an adorable guy who has a lot of fun energy. Sweet and friendly, I am ready to be a great companion. I was very patient for my shelter bath and nail trim – so I got a “good boy” for that. The MM photographer enjoyed our photo session and called me ‘bold, smart and fun’. I haven’t been destructive and have only played with my toys. I have the cutest signature underbite that the volunteers say is just adorable. I bring a lot to the table for my new family, and I will reward you with lots of great memories. / My energy level is initially around a 6-8, but once I had a few days to get acclimated in my temp. foster home, it became around 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer. When I initially meet people, I get excited and can be a bit jumpy but settle down after the initial excitement. So, I’ll be working on accepting friendly strangers without jumping. Check back soon to see what I have mastered. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster home, though she let me sleep outside my crate, in a doggie bed in her room – and I did great! I slept all night and patiently waited for her to get up, even though I woke up before her! / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, as well as in two temp. foster homes I visited, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: As active as I am, you know I love toys, so let’s have some fun with those! Getting lots of love and attention from people makes me a happy guy as well. After a day of curiosity and play, let’s settle down together and relax; I’m quite a cuddle bug after all! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a great home with a loving, fun family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
