Meet Isla - A 6 month old Belgian Shepherd Malinois/Mixed Breed, color brindle. Spayed and fully vetted. Good with dogs . Children unknown. Heart worm negative. A home with no cats is best. Says good with dogs but not cats. Children unknown. Heart worm negative. Has not had any accidents in her crate. She has a sweet but shy personality. Rides well in the car. Her fur is super soft, she follows me around but also now lays with a toy outside the crates of my 2 other fosters wagging her tail and wanting to play. She walks pretty good on a leash, super interested in squirrels and will pull when she sees them. If I am outside in back yard she runs around and plays and entertains herself with various toys. I think she will be a super loyal and loving girl but will need slow introductions. Isla weighs 50 lbs. She is much bigger than a Belgian but does have the sleder looking body. Good eater meaning not slow or picky, usually gobbles her food up in minutes. They also noted behavior as being shy. Very much a puppy and want to play and seeks connection. Right now she is running up and down my hill and keeps tossing a toy in the air. She allows me to pick up her front end to put a harness on, goes into crate easily, the only peep I hear from her is a little whining when they all realize I am up or if the 2 other fosters are running around playing and she isn't. If I say "no" to anything (biting the root of a tree) she immediately looks at me and then stops. She wants to do the right thing and please her person.
