Male Dog, Border Collie

Border Collie (Medium Coat)

Description:

Please contact [email protected] for more information about this pet. Ever so handsome Brody!!! Is a show stopper of Border Collies. He is super affectionate with his foster mom. Super sweet and soft hearted. Brody was relinquished to a Southern Indiana shelter. Where we believe he didn’t have a positive interactions with people. He came in scared of every move his foster mom made. But slowly he figured out a new routine and lifestyle. Brody is now crate trained and is allowed blankets. He is in the home with other dogs and is doing well. You can catch him laying on the couches or in the kitchen while his foster mom cooks. In the evening and it’s quiet time watching TV or while his foster mom reads you can catch him lying beside her, taking up all the attention and thoroughly enjoying strokes on his head. Brody has a good recall while outside in his dog playground of a yard. While the ball is being thrown he does not show much interest in retrieving it, but does love to chase the other dogs he lives with. That may change if he were the only dog. Brody is fostered on a horse hobby farm, where he can sit at the fence all day and just watch all their movements. That’s his favorite activity outside. Brody would thrive in a home where there is little chaos. Kids maybe too much for him and he can get a little herd driven by sounds. Brody does need a fence because given a chance he would chase cars, or critters. No invisible fence! Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about Brody. You can complete an application to adopt Brody or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org . *** The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.
