White German Shepherd (Long Coat)
Description:
Male - 1 year - 61 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - TXHi there! My name is Daggry and I am a 1-year-old, 61 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when left home alone. I am a friendly boy with men, women, and older children. I may display hesitancy first approaching a new man until I know him better. I am a sweet boy who is happy to engage with my humans, especially for play! I will actively seek affection and love. I can be a bit rowdy when I get excited and am likely too much for small children. I have been working hard on my canine social skills and have been doing well with a neutral, large dogs. I can be easily overstimulated by other animals so I cannot go to a home with exuberant dogs or small dogs. I enjoy toys: my favorites are balls or anything with a squeaker to be dissected. I also enjoy my Wubba toys! I am happy to play games of fetch with you! I ride well in the car after being lifted in. I am working hard on my leash skills and usually only pull slightly, and I am learning I don’t need to bark whenever we see other animals though this is a work in progress. I have learned sit, drop it, and kennel. I’m currently learning down and settle. I am currently taking fluoxetine to help stabilize my mental state while I work on my training around other animals. I am an intelligent, active boy who would love to find a family committed to continuing my training so I can become the best boy I can be! Are you my family? Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogDaggry For more information, please contact [email protected]. Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
