Female Dog, White German Shepherd
White German Shepherd (Long Coat)
Description:
Female - 2 years - 50 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - DEHello! My name is Vaquita and I am a 2-year-old, 50 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I currently need to be crated when I am left home alone. I do well with men, women, and older children with proper introductions. I actively seek affection and sometimes even invite myself into people’s laps for snuggles and kisses! I will welcome visitors to our home after some alert barks. I have not done well with other animals in my foster home so I will need to be the only pet. I love toys, especially ropes and balls, and my foster family has been working to teach me appropriate tug games so we can have fun together! I have fantastic agility and can easily clear a fence so I either need a yard with a tall fence or no fence where all outside activity is on leash. I ride well in the car and know some basic commands: sit, come, roll over. My leash skills are a work in progress as I am learning not to pull and that I don’t need to react whenever we see people or animals on our walks. I am rather high energy and would thrive with someone dedicated to providing plenty of mental and physical stimulation. I am a diamond in the rough ready to find my perfect adoptive family—could you be my people? Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogVaquita For more information, please contact [email protected]. Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
