Description:
Female - 16 months - 45 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - MAHello! My name is Willoughby and I am a 16-month-old, 45 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I am currently crated when left home alone at my foster home. I have done well with men, women, and older children after proper introductions. I can be standoffish initially until I know you better, then I enjoy receiving affection. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have done well meeting other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a playful sibling or two. I love to play with toys and am not picky about what kind! I cannot go to a home with cats. I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS: I had a cardiology workup due to a detected grade II—III heart murmur. I was diagnosed with cardiomegaly, valvular dysplasia, and left ventricular hypertrophy & aortic dilation. Some of these may be normal variations. My cardiologist stated no restrictions or medications are indicated at this time, but I will require yearly echocardiograms with a cardiologist to monitor my heart health throughout my life. I enjoy car rides and getting out with my humans! I would love to find a family willing to spend time training with me so that I can join you on adventures. I only pull slightly on leash, though I am still learning how to calmly pass other dogs when out and about. I would love to find my perfect adoptive family—is that with you? Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogWilloughby For more information, please contact [email protected]. Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
