Rugrat is a 5-year old Chihuahua and terrier mix who was recently surrendered to us. This little lap dog came from a home with a special needs child that used to hit him. Rugrat knows he is safe at AEAR. In his short time with us, he has only experienced love and patience.Although he is a bit hand shy (who wouldn't be?!), Rugrat is enjoying lots of human attention. He has made friends with some of the other dogs in the home and happily shares the laps of his foster mom and dad with his new pals.This sweet, gentle boy deserves to spend the rest of his life feeling loved and safe.
