Description:
How to Adopt Meet Autumn! Autumn is a 6-month-old Cavalier King Charles with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. Though a bit shy at first, she loves to explore at her own pace and blossoms into a playful pup as her confidence grows. Autumn adores other dogs, is great with cats, and, once she feels at ease, is an absolute sweetheart who loves being around her people. Like all puppies, she will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give her valuable learning skills but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Autumn is fully vetted. She has been spayed, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of her adopter. Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for Autumn, please fill out an application for adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: [email protected]. If you aren’t looking to adopt but still would like to help Autumn, please consider a donation for her food, housing, and veterinary care.
