Keep calm and woof on.
Female Dog, Shih Tzu
Shih Tzu
Description:
How to Adopt Heather is a sweet shihtzu puppy released from a puppy mill breeder. She is a touch shy but will easily lose her timidity and blossom in her own loving home. She is almost 5 months old, tiny and not likely to get very big. Like all puppies she will need structure and a patient loving home. We recommend training for all puppies not only to give the puppy learning skill. But you and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just for having gone to training. Heather is fully vetted, She has been spayed, received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of her adopter, Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 20+ years old so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): YOU MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE OR SOMEONE HOME ALL DAY. PUPPIES NEED TO BE LET OUT TO POTTY OFTEN, THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION AND BONDING AND NEED TRAINING (HOUSETRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL TRAINING). IF YOU WORK LONG HOURS, HAVE A BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE OR NOT FINANCIALLY SECURE THEN A PUPPY IS NOT FOR YOU. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits, If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate to adopt Heather please fill out an application for her adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/aoption We are all volunteers with full time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at: [email protected]. f you aren't looking to adopt, but still would like to help Heather please consider a donation for her food, housing, and veterinary care.
