Meet Alvin, a lovable 1.5-year-old male Shih Tzu who is ready to find his forever home! Alvin is a sweet and chill little guy who is housebroken, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs. However, while he is dog-friendly, Alvin is much more of a "people dog" and prefers the company of his humans over other dogs in his foster home.Alvin is a snuggler at heart and loves to curl up close to his people for some quality cuddle time. He’s also a big fan of his food, making meal times something he looks forward to. Alvin’s ideal home is one where someone is home more often, as he thrives on companionship and affection. He would be just as happy in a home with or without another dog, as long as he has plenty of love and attention from his family.This sweet boy came to us as a stray from Waukegan, and he’s now ready to start a new chapter with a loving family who can give him the stability and care he deserves.
