Meet Charlotte! She's a lovely three-year-old Beagle mix who tips the scales at 22.7 pounds. Her hobbies include running around and playing in the house - she enjoys toys and other dogs. Charlotte loves a good game of fetch, her stuffies, and cuddling in your lap. Charlotte is a bit nervous on walks and in the car. Although her foster dad says she needs gentle introductions to strangers (especially men), she'll warm up and become friendly. She hasn't been exposed to children, but her foster dad believes children over age 6 would be fine. Charlotte gets skittish around loud noises and unexpected movements, so she may briefly hide in a safe space. This sweet girl is making progress with house training. She tolerates the crate, but does best when she can see her foster dad. Placing her crate in his bedroom was a great solution. Charlotte's foster dad says she's anxious in new environments. Although she spent her first day hiding under his dining room table, she quickly warmed up to him. This pretty girl will thrive in a quieter home with another dog for company. Her foster dad believes a friendly, playful dog that is her size or smaller would be great. This isn't required, but something he thinks she'd like. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
