Dog friendly, cat friendly, housetrained, kennel trained and knows basic commands. Shadow is best guess Dutch Sheperd mix, so he loves his people, he barks when someone arrives at the home, he’s loving, protective and very smart! Shadow can be a little shy at first but warms up very quick to new people. He's seven but has plenty of spunk left! He does very well on car rides and did great during vetting! He loves to be outside and would make a great adventure companion! He needs a little leash work, but with some time he’ll get it. He brings every toy from his fosters yard up to the deck! He’s obsessed with Kong toys! He’s all around just a great pup and he needs a forever home! Shadow is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on preventatives! CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card. Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE.
