Description:
Louie is a 7 year old male German Shepherd mix. This extra large boy is easy on a leash and a gentle treat taker. There is nothing wrong with his hearing as the crinkle of a treat bag immediately gets his attention. He is quick to offer a sit in hopes of winning one of those treats. Louie likes to offer commentary in the kennel; they are not barks and sound more melodious. This, his regal bearing, and long-nosed profile have our kennel manager saying "he reminds me a dire wolf and his biggest wish is to be adopted into a home where he can rule the sofa and possibly be added to a family crest." Louie previously lived with an energetic young dog and is said to be house-trained.
