Description:
Lia is the sweetest, gentle little senior gal. She didn't have the easiest start to life, but she is now *very* much enjoying being a loved, indoor companion. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and generally is looking for a peaceful, comfy 'retirement' life. She had heartworm infection when she came to us, but she has now completed treatment. She also had her teeth cleaned, was spayed, and got caught up on other veterinary care. Now all she needs is a family ! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter.
