Hi there, I'm Potato and I'm 2.5 years old! I am more of a lazy guy that sleeps sitting up. Yep, you read that right. I do love to play and run in the yard with volunteers, but my energy quickly depletes because naps are by far superior! I am on the short and stout side, but that doesn't bother me one bit! I do well co-existing with other dogs, but I may not do well living every day with a dog companion - If you are willing to work with me on my food and toy aggression with other dogs, then by all means, lets try it out! I have been in two different homes since I have been at AWL and the consensus is, I need a home without children. I like kids and people in general, but I can be intimidating towards them and become protective over them with they are stressed or irritated. Some of my strengths are: I am crate and housetrained! I know sit and shake! I LOVE to be on furniture and close to you, but I was easily trained to remain off furniture, though I still wanted to be close to my humans! I really enjoy my kong toy and my durable chewing bone! I also ignored cats as long as they ignore me - I did struggle a little bit in a home where the cat wanted to continuously hiss at me, and I thought the cat wanted to play! That was not the case...
