Male Dog, Hound
Hound / Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
"Hi, I'm Cubby! I'm a puppy with a heart full of joy and a spirit that's always ready for a new adventure. I'm a bit of a goofball, but that's part of my charm. I love to make friends, humans and other dogs/pups. I've got a unique talent too - I can sing! Some say it is howling. But we can get a chorus going that is just beautiful! I love playing with toys with my dog foster siblings, independently, or with my humans. When I am tired I love to snuggle with my humans and receive lots of belly rubs! My foster mom says I am such a good boy...I love that! We are working on basic commands and leash walking. I am crate trained and am crated when my foster mom leaves for 3 hours a day a few days a week and at night for sleeping. House training is going well because I am on a consistent schedule. I am in a foster home with other adult dogs and do well and there is a cat too, and sometimes other puppies. I am learning to co-exist with the cat and doing okay, but at times I still try to chase. Sometimes I can be an early warning system...door knocks, door bells, delivery drivers, other dogs barking... I like to go on adventures with my foster mom, in the car...for walks...to stores....Endless paws-abilities with me by your side." At 4 months old, he weighs around 20 lbs. He is a mixed breed puppy, possibly a Hound/ Terrier mix. There are no kids in his foster home but he is anticipated to do well with continued training and dog respectful kids too.
