Male Dog, Pomeranian
Pomeranian (Long Coat)
Description:
Milo is a 6-month-old, male, Pomeranian that weighs about 5 lbs. He is a local owner surrender. Milo was too much puppy for his senior owner so she surrendered him to Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa so he can find a better fit to meet his needs. Milo is a "lap dog" in size, but he is still all puppy and will need an owner that can keep up with his energy and continue his training so he will be a happy, well-rounded dog when he is fully mature. Milo is tiny but full of love & affection. He follows you everywhere and snuggles up next to your side. He’s on his way to being potty trained but still learning. He gets along great with cats and dogs and loves to play! He “talks” with a whimpering sound. He is small but mighty when it comes to taking his toy away from him, he has a big voice. He does like to be with his adult or animal family friends at all times and needs lots of love and attention. He is crate trained, an early riser but calm and sleepy when evening rolls around. Milo's best fit family will be fairly active, and dog centered. Milo will not require daily walks, but he is spunky and energetic and needs lots of play time. He is better suited to older children. Milo will require weekly to daily brushing to keep his coat in shape.
