Yeti is scheduled for his neuter on March 13 and will not be available for adoption outside of a 30-minute radius of Des Moines until after his neuter. Yeti came to Iowa from an Oklahoma shelter with his momma Zarah and 8 siblings when he was approximately 5 weeks old. He was assigned a birthdate of 11/23/24 since we don't have an exact date of birth. Yeti is a possible Border Collie/Husky mix and weighs just under 10 lbs. at 10 weeks old. Yeti is a sweet, floppy, and smart puppy with a gorgeous white coat and playful personality. He's learning new skills every day and loves to please! He is working hard on potty training and is comfortable with the crate at night. This big lovable guy is sure to bring joy and warmth to anyone lucky enough to meet him! He will likely do well with cats and kids with proper, slow introductions. Yeti needs an active family that can provide lots of play time and activities that stimulate him mentally. He will not be adopted to a family living in an apartment, condo, or townhouse due to his being vocal at times and needing a yard to play in. We are looking for a family that has experience owning active, vocal dogs and one that can keep up with a very active dog. Another active, social dog living in the home is also a plus.
