Description:
Loki is about 2.5 years old and is full of personality. He actively engages in play with the other dogs in his foster home and the humans. He hasn’t met a lap he doesn’t like, willingly greats new people and loves to be cuddled. He responds best to corrections spoken to him in an instructions voice and does get frightened when voices are raised. He’s doing very well with is potty manners. He’s not quite telling his foster family when he needs to go out, but he signals by hanging around the back door lading to a fenced yard. With a regular in and out routine, he hasn’t had accidents in the house. He’s done well in the snow and in mild rain. He’s not a fan of the wind, but if you go out with him, he’ll do what he needs to do quickly and bolt back inside.He does well in a kennel when humans aren’t in the house and has always been kenneled when not supervised. His foster mom works from home and he rest quietly in her office all day, with a couple breaks to go outside and an occasional stretch and request for pets. He also sleeps overnight in his kennel, though he would have no objections to sharing a bed with his humans. He does really well on a leash for walks and potty time and also travels well in the car. He’s had limited exposure to his foster family cat, but he was indifferent and even sat next to the cat on a couch. He is a smaller IG, so if in a home with children, they will need to be gentle with him to prevent injury. He is up to date on vaccines and heart worm preventive.
