Thank you for your cooperation.STRAY NEW INTAKE NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 10/28/2024: Bitsey - female - approx 2 years old - 7.2 pounds - Yorkie/Chihuahua mix Reason for intake: Bitsey showed up at someone's house on Crouch Dam Road in Mooringsport around Oct. 22, 2024. The finder posted her on social media and we were tagged. We reached out but didn't hear back. The finder contacted us yesterday saying no one came forward and could we take her and here she is. We notified Caddo Parish Animal Services and she is or will be posted on their lost/found site. If no one comes forward by the week of Nov 4, 2024, we will send her for vetting. You must show proof this is your dog via pictures... vet records, etc. We don't go off of "see if the dog will answer to xxxx". We don't go off of someone just saying the dog is their dog. You must have PROOF! We do NOT take applications for dogs UNTIL they are posted for adoption provided no owner comes forward during stray. Early applications BEFORE the dog is posted for adoption will not be processed.
