Female Dog, Labrador Retriever
Labrador Retriever
Description:
Name: Samaria Approximate breed: Lab mix Gender: Female Approximate age: 1 year Approximate weight: 55 lbs Vetted/Vaccinated: Up to date Spayed/Neutered: Yes Good with Children: Yes, 10+yo Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Ideal Family: Any, single dog Adoption Fee: $550 Samaria was found as a stray down south and was taken in by animal control, but sadly, as with so many dogs down there, no one came to claim her. Samaria is a lovely young girl that loves her people friends. She has been described as “social and dainty” by her caretakers, but she does love a bit of playtime as well! She knows ‘sit’ but would benefit from some additional training to bond and develop great communication with your new family member. She gets along with other dogs of all ages, but we think she might enjoy being the only dog in the home to soak up lots of love and pampering that she’s missed out on. She loves toys and is really getting used to all the comforts and niceties of home life! She is very loving and will bring warmth and sweetness to some lucky forever family. Does Samaria sound like the sweetie for you? Fill out an adoption application today! All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending. We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs. Ready to Adopt? The next step is to fill out our Adoption Application. A volunteer will contact you to review your application and see if your family might be the right match.
