Courtesy post Meet Fendi: Your Future Best Friend! Fendi is a 2-year-old pitbull with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Born on April 22, 2022, this affectionate girl is in need of a new home due to her owner's move. Fendi has been staying with her owner’s sister for the past 8 months, but sadly, she can’t keep her any longer. Despite being a bit awkward with toys (don’t expect her to fetch a ball just yet), Fendi's sweet and friendly temperament shines through. She gets incredibly excited when she sees her favorite people, often expressing her joy with a bit of jumping. She’s made great strides in curbing this behavior but could use a little more training to keep her paws on the ground. Fendi is a social girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and is playful with them. She’s lived harmoniously with a small dog but hasn’t been around cats. Her energetic nature might be a bit much for feline friends, but she’s sure to thrive in a home with other dogs. While she has not been exposed to kids, her usual indifference on walks suggests she would do well with them. She does need some work on her leash manners as she tends to pull, especially when she's excited. However, with the right guidance and a bit of patience, Fendi can learn to walk nicely on a leash. She’s not treat-motivated but responds well to positive reinforcement and corrections. Fendi is also great with baths, grooming, and vet visits—she even handled a blood draw like a champ! Fendi is cage-trained, potty-trained, and loves to be part of the action. She’s always up for a run around the yard or a cuddle session on the couch.
