Hey there, I’m Shamrock! I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever home since March 2024, and I just know my perfect match is out there. I’m about 18 months old and full of love, energy, and snuggles! I adore people, swimming, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and being the best cuddle buddy you could ask for. When I first arrived in foster care, I was a little too excited and had some jumpy habits, but my amazing foster family helped me learn so much. Then, I hit the jackpot—I was selected for the HOPE Dogs (Hounds of Prison Education) program, where I’ve fine-tuned my manners and skills. Now, I’m not just adorable, I’m smart, well-trained, and eager to please! I know lots of commands like sit, down, stay, come, off, wait, kiss, and even "go pee!" I take treats gently, love learning new tricks, and I’m always up for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking in the woods, chasing my favorite squeaky ball, or romping through the snow (yes, I’ve discovered it’s super fun!), I bring enthusiasm to everything I do. I’m a social pup who’s working on my doggy friendships—I get excited meeting new friends but do best with calm, laid-back dogs. Structure helps me thrive, so I need a family committed to continuing my training and keeping me engaged.
